Sanguis - Hip Hop / Trap Producer Steez

What is it that you want to do with your music?
Looking to take Charlotte's hip hop scene by storm. Looking to collaborate with rappers, local artists, and making awesome shit happen.

How long have you been doing music for?
3 Years producing

What are your plans for now?
Accumulate talent I've been working with and start my own label. Working with  some close friends like Jaylon Stitt, who's also a jazz pianist and all around badass.

I moved down here in 2009 and working full time after attending East Carolina University.

What's your take on how you make music?
I get a basic idea or melody and peeling back the layers from there and form into something entirely new. Always trying something new.

What was your latest release?
Always Sunny, I always love watching "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" and just wanted to make a fresh track to after hearing the theme song so many times and thought I would give it a try to see what I can do with it!

What was your first collaboration?
With my boy, OJK Chino The King, a young talented kid outta Durham and he certainly has bars for days, making his choruses flow very well with his raps. I wanted to add him to my portfolio of talent and add my style to it!

And you used to go by a different name, right? Mojo?
I used to go by a different name by DJ Mojo but I felt like I had to narrow my focus and become more singular on my style.

I hope to get my performances up and show my DJ skills, and I hope people appreciate the style I give.

Peace

- Sanguis
